Dr. Shaukat Khan (Program Training Manager)
Dr. Shaukat Khan a veterinarian by profession has more than 13 years’ experience in the developmental sector. He worked Livestock & Dairy Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Livestock Trainers and Consultants (LTC) and Relief International Pakistan. In his career, he remained part of capacity building programs and designed various training curricula and training manuals for Livestock farmers, butchers, livestock traders, Community Animal Health Workers and Public Health Workers.
He also supervised 65 labs in-depth biorisk assessments in various veterinary and research labs of livestock department and universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
He also implemented Biorisk Management training program for 76 labs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. He also remained part of the team who developed 13 standard operating procedures for labs on biosafety and biosecurity.
Dr. Shaukat Khan led the team who developed biosafety guidelines and training manuals on biorisk management and sample collection, transportation, and necropsy.
Dr. Shaukat Khan got series of training on biorisk management, biorisk assessment, BRM course development and sample collection and transportation, Disease Surveillance and clinical skills from Sandia National Labs in Jordan, South Africa and Bangkok, Morocco and Sri Lanka from 2013 to 2019.
